COMBINED REGGIO-ACADEMIC CURRICULUM

At Child Connect Early Learning, we recognize the importance of collaborative learning which views the child as a "social being", and our approach to educating young minds is to utilize all pedagogical ways available. Our combined Reggio-Academic programs provide the crucial framework a child needs to make the most of these precious early years.

"Academic Curriculum"

At Child Connect Early Learning we base our curriculum on the belief that children have a natural desire to learn and that, when they are placed in an enriched environment with specially designed materials and highly trained teachers, they learn quickly and easily through hands-on experience. Our experienced teachers, through careful observation of the children in their care, are able to discover how to help children learn about self-care, math, language, cultural studies, etc.

It is now accepted by all pioneers in the field of early childhood education that by age two, a child is at the beginning stages of his intellectual and personal journey. What the child does during the next four to six years will substantially shape his/her future.

"The greatest gift we can give our children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence"

                                                 Maria Montessori

At Child Connect Early learning we thrive to give each child the individual attention and care that is unique to them and as such create a successful path for them to become their true self.

"Reggio Curriculum"

Reggio Emilia is not just a method-it is a creative curriculum for preschools accepted by the most innovative teachers in the world. It was established in Italy in the years following World War II and it has its roots in the Italian family traditions and community.

Child-Directed Approach

The Reggio Emilia approach to education is a "Child-Directed approach" which means every child is an active participant in learning, capable creator and investigator. Children can construct and prove their own theories about the world and, to a certain degree, control their education. Our variable and flexible study program follows prevalent children's interests.

Team Communication

Children are always eager to connect, interact with each other. For them, it is a unique way to build awareness and understanding among all participants of study activities.

"The Hundred Languages"

Even the greatest thinkers of humankind were often inspired by unlimited potentials of children's creativity. "The Hundred Languages" alludes to the countless ways in which children express themselves: Painting and drawing, dance and music, sculpturing and modeling, play pretend and acting, and many more.

"Creativity becomes more visible when adults try to be more attentive to the cognitive processes of children than to the results they achieve in various fields of doing and understanding"

                                                                        Loris Malaguzzi

Environment as The Third Teacher

Both teachers and parents should not forget that children get most of their information about the world from their own experiences when they look , touch, listen to and manipulate objects. This is why a friendly environment is called "the third teacher" in a Reggio inspired centers. We offer both indoor and outdoor environment with natural light with wide range of natural creative tools.

Documentation

Careful documentation of children's activities helps us track the process of their development. It also provides insight into their learning process supported by number of means, including journals, transcripts, photographs and videos. At Child Connect Early Learning, we gather bring not only visualization of learning, but also unforgettable childhood memories.
