At Child Connect Early Learning, we believe that early childhood is the most important and influential stage of a person's life. Since the day we opened our doors, our mission has been to create a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where children feel inspired to explore, discover, and grow. Guided by the Reggio Emilia and Montessori philosophies, our programs combine creativity, academic learning, and purposeful play—providing a space where children don’t just learn, but imagine, experiment, question, and uncover their remarkable abilities each day.
Our team consists of devoted, highly trained educators who are passionate about working with young children. I am a mother of two beautiful children and I work my dream job. Working with young children has always been my passion. I love observing their little minds grow as they discover themselves and the world around them. Having a psychology degree and Masters in Education, I believe, has equipped me with knowledge of Child development to be able to provide a safe and nurturing environment so they can flourish and thrive.

I'm Hanieh Kashanimajd, born and raised in Iran. I hold a Bachelor of Arts from Iran and an Early Childhood Education/Infant and Toddler diploma from Vancouver Career College. Since 2014, I have had the privilege of working in childcare, primarily with immigrant families, helping children transition to a new lifestyle and language. Watching them learn English and build relationships with their peers has been truly rewarding. My passion for early childhood education grew as I observed the curiosity of young minds and found ways to create positive learning experiences. I began my career at Cameron Children's Center before joining Child Connect in January 2014. There, I worked across different programs, including preschool and infant/toddler care. I am currently the supervisor at Child Connect, a role that has given me immense learning opportunities and a deep appreciation for the wonderful families we work with. I believe that the early years are critical for children's emotional, physical, and cognitive development. It's important to me to create a safe and nurturing environment where children feel secure and supported. I cherish every moment with the children and am so grateful to work with such kind families who have made me feel proud of my work.

Living with my supportive husband and our delightful 4-year-old child, I understand the joys and challenges of parenting firsthand. Azadeh moved to Vancouver from Iran with her 10-year-old daughter, Amitris and husband three years ago. Shortly after her move she was employed at Child Connect and has been happily working there since. Azadeh’s journey as a daycare teacher was not just a job for her; it was a calling. She believed that by nurturing and guiding young minds, she was shaping the future generation. Her unwavering dedication, boundless energy, and genuine love for her students made her an inspiration to her colleagues and a beloved figure in the community. Beyond the classroom, Azadeh also recognized the importance of building strong relationships with the parents and families of her students. She understood that a child's development was greatly influenced by their home environment, and she actively collaborated with parents to create a seamless transition between school and home life.
